Why Certified Pre-Owned?
125-Point Inspection and Reconditioning Standards
In order to be a Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle (CPOV), each vehicle must pass 100% of the 125-Point Vehicle Inspection/Reconditioning Process. Below is a line-by-line description, detailing every item on the 125-Point Vehicle Inspection Checklist. Before being reported as “certified,” the vehicle must be reconditioned to pass the 125-Point Vehicle Inspection Checklist. The Checklist must also be signed by the selling dealer and the purchasing customer. When replacing parts during reconditioning, Mopar or Mopar Value Line parts must be used.
Where a CPOV may be serviced
Chrysler recommends that a CPOV is taken to the selling Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge, or RAM dealer for all service and warranty work. The selling dealer best knows the vehicle, its history and the customer. A CPOV may, however, be taken to any authorized Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, or RAM dealer for warranty work.
